Gwen Stefani and Akon have been dumped by the main sponsor, Verizon, for their Sweet Escape Tour. The main reason seems to be that a disturbing video of Akon simulating sex on stage with a gir,l who turned out only to be 15, has emerged. This video has made its way all over the internet and is very bad publicity for the pair.
This is a very bad blow to both Gwen and Akon and rumours are suggesting that they may have to pull out of the tour unless another sponsor is found fast.
